    • At this time, all VSP Labs, Marchon®/Altair® distribution and customer service centers, and Eyefinity® services are fully operational and VSP Global® representatives are available to continue to serve you as we practice safe distancing processes outlined by the CDC. Given the developing nature of current events, that could change and we will immediately let you know if and when it does.
    • Our objective is preserving your relationship with your VSP patients and we are instructing them on vsp.com to contact your office for information about appointments, closures, and/or status of eyewear orders. As health and safety permit, please follow up as soon as you are able.
    • In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Visionworks, a VSP Global company, will temporarily close all of its locations to the public by Saturday, March 21st through April 3rd, but will preserve access to its doctors for essential and emergency eye care. The organization will continue to monitor the situation and seek guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal and state agencies to determine when to reopen its locations for routine eyecare.     How is VSP Global responding to COVID-19? Are any operations changing?

    • Where possible, the vast majority of our US workforce is practicing safe social distancing processes as outlined by the CDC and others, such as working from home and virtual meetings.
    • We have cancelled events involving large groups and are not participating with those being sponsored by others at this time.
    • At this time, all of our labs and distribution centers are fully operational.

     

    Are Marchon/Altair and VSPOne labs operational? Will we experience any delays?

    Should I continue to see VSP patients?

    • Please refer to your local health authority guidelines, the American Optometric Association guidelines as well as those from the Centers for Disease Control around the COVID-19 pandemic.
    • Given our current national emergency, your practice may feel the need to reschedule routine patient appointments and address your VSP members’ essential and emergency eye care needs. Please schedule new appointments or reschedule existing patients to new times, as appropriate based on the recommendations of your state/national associations and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

     

    What does this mean for my practice’s Premier Program status?

    • At VSP Global, our top priority is the health and safety of providers, customers, partners, and employees. We understand that achieving or maintaining Premier Program status may be on your mind. In these uncertain times, it’s too early for us to make any immediate changes but we’ll continue to monitor and assess opportunities to provide greater flexibility with your long-term success in mind.
