Retinal Screening for the VSP Primary Eye Care Plan and Diabetic Eyecare Plus Program

This course provides an overview of VSP’s medical eye care plans, how to obtain an authorization, and claim submission for covered-in-full retinal screening for patients with diabetes who have VSP Primary Eye Care Plan and Diabetic Eyecare Plus Program.

A Focus on Diabetes: A Closer Look at Diabetes for Optometrists
Presented by Sherrol Reynolds, OD, FAAO
This new, one-hour course builds off the topics covered in the previous “Focus on Diabetes: An Overview of Diabetes for Optometrists” course and takes a closer look at the connections between diabetes and eye health, advancements in the treatment of diabetes and its ocular sequelae, treating the whole person, and the complementary roles of healthcare and eye care professionals within the larger interdisciplinary diabetes care team.

Practice Roadmap for Diabetes Management

Learn how the diabetes epidemic is impacting optometric practices, including the need to manage patient medical issues and the effects on practice management and patient flow.
