Class is almost in session! Gear up your practice for the schoolyear and start talking about back-to-school eye health and eyewear with your patients. Here are a few ideas to help your patients achieve more: 

  • School-friendly styles. Consider holding a promotion on junior frames to highlight back-to-school cool eyewear. Share images on social media of fun frames that your patients will be excited to show off on their first day of class. Don’t forget to also educate patients on the importance of well-fitting eyewear. Children who are uncomfortable with the fit of their frames may go out of their way to avoid wearing them. 

  • Let’s talk digital eye strain. Kids are spending more time than ever on tablets and computers. This extended screen time can contribute to digital eye strain; however, lenses with blue light coating can combat this risk.
