We know many VSP® network doctors give back to their communities in the U.S. and across the globe. Explore opportunities below to leverage VSP Vision™ Eyes of Hope® and make an even bigger impact.
For Kim Chi Trinh, OD, giving back to the community is part of her culture and the most rewarding part of her profession. Dr. Trinh shares her recent experience volunteering with an Eyes of Hope mobile clinic and what she would tell other optometrists about giving back to the community.
Eyes of Hope gift certificates are distributed through our national network of charitable partners, including the National Association of School Nurses, American Red Cross, Lions Clubs, and Prevent Blindness. Certificates are available for adults and children in need, including those affected by disaster, to ensure they have no-cost access to quality eye care and eyewear through a local VSP network doctor. When you see patients with a certificate, you’ll be reimbursed for all services as a Choice network doctor.
This year, we enhanced the certificates to make it even easier for you to provide vision care for people in need in your community. Frame coverage has been expanded to include all Marchon and Altair Eyewear brands within an increased allowance and consolidated the types of certificates.
