VSP Global Communication to Members During COVID-19

Learn about the different ways VSP Global is keeping members informed.


As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 crisis together, doctors have been asking what we’re communicating to members, your patients, about their benefits and how to access care. We want you to know we are emphasizing the importance of their relationship with you, their doctor, and encouraging them to reach out directly to you to determine available hours and services, as well as for urgent or emergent care needs. What follows are some examples of our member communications:

  • Updated notification bar at the top of all pages on vsp.com, directing patients to contact their VSP network doctor regarding appointments and hours, and linking to a dedicated VSP COVID-19 page for information 

  • Updated closure information on the VSP Find a Doctor page 

  • Direct email to members, directing them to the VSP COVID-19 page 

  • Posts on member-facing social channels linking to the VSP COVID-19 page 

We will continue to monitor the situation and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), and provide updates to members as they become available.
