In the year 2000, at the start of the dot-com era and backed by the strength and vision of VSP®, eyefinity.com was launched to provide a broad range of online services for the optometric industry—from pulling authorizations, to claim filing, lab ordering, and more. As we take a moment to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Eyefinity®, we recognize that our success is in large part due to the support, commitment, and vision of the practices we serve.
Optometrists and staff have always been foundational to Eyefinity’s innovation. In fact, over the years, many VSP network providers have served in advisory roles to guide product development and map out a vision of technology that is secure, compliant, and aligned with the evolving needs of the practice. Since that early beginning, a host of products and services have been introduced by Eyefinity. The organization’s rich history includes the merger with OfficeMate® in 2008, the acquisition of AcuityLogic™ in 2010, the launch of Eyefinity EHR in 2013 followed by the launch of Eyefinity Practice Management in 2014, and most recently, telehealth capabilities introduced this year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eyefinity has grown to become the leading provider of enterprise practice management and electronic heath record software solutions, customized for the eye care industry.
