As a VSP® network doctor, you can use telemedicine to offer remote medical eye care services to VSP patients. VSP now offers two new tools to support your offering of medical eye care services through telemedicine.
Starting April 29, 2020, a Telemedicine Services Available indicator will show on the Find a Doctor directory at vsp.com. This feature allows VSP members to easily see if you offer medical eye care services through telemedicine. To indicate if your practice offers these telemedicine services, please go to VSPOnline at eyefinity.com and navigate to Administration:
In addition, a new telemedicine resource page is now available. This comprehensive resource is designed to help practices navigate telemedicine, including the remote medical eye care services covered by VSP. This page provides billing codes, webinar links, resource guides, FAQs, and news articles, helping you to easily locate and reference up-to-date information for medical eye care services leveraging telemedicine.
