California Doctors Only: Reminder- Required California EPSDT Training for Medicaid Doctors As of January 1, 2024, the state of California Department of Health Care Services requires all doctors who offer Medicaid services to complete Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) training every two years, based on the date you last completed the training. Please use this link to access the required training. Follow the instructions provided within the link to take the training and then provide your individual electronic attestation of completion. If you have taken the EPSDT training elsewhere within the last two years, you do not need to take it again. However, you must still sign the VSP attestation by following the link below to the training. You will receive a confirmation email from VSP once your training and attestation has been completed. Please save this confirmation for your records. If you are unsure if you already completed the training during your two-year time frame, please reach out to providernetworkdevelopment@vsp.com.
