Reminder: Updated ICD-10 Codes

Effective October 1, 2023, updated ICD-10 codes were added to the VSP^® Provider Reference Manual to align with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The update also includes modifications to approved ICD-10 codes for Punctal Occlusion by Plug and Visual Necessary Contact Lenses. As a reminder, include diagnosis codes to the highest degree of specificity when submitting claims to ensure accurate and complete submissions.
