Introducing the 2025 VSP Admissions Scholarship Recipient

VSP Vision™, in partnership with Midwestern University, proudly announces Benjamin Sanchez, a first-year student at the Chicago College of Optometry, as the 2025 VSP^® Admissions Scholarship recipient. 

This $10,000 scholarship is awarded annually to an incoming first-year optometry student at a Midwestern University College of Optometry campus (Arizona College of Optometry or Chicago College of Optometry) and aims to support financially disadvantaged and/or first-generation college students.  

To date, VSP has awarded $4 million in scholarships to nearly 1,200 optometry students—and more than 70 scholarships in 2025. These investments reflect VSP’s ongoing commitment to help the next generation of optometrists by delivering support, value, and stability for the profession every step of the way.
