New! Embrace Technology as a Friend: Imaging Insights to Help Diagnose and Manage Diabetic Retinopathy (One hour of CE credit)
Using technology is becoming increasingly integral to diagnosing and managing various ocular diseases. Presented by Robert Yacoub, OD, FAAO, this course will discuss the ins and outs of using multiple imaging devices, including OCT, OCT-A, fluorescein angiography, and fundus autofluorescence, to diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy.

New! Connecting the Risks of Chronic Kidney Disease and Diabetic Retinopathy (One hour of CE credit)
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and diabetic retinopathy are common microvascular complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Presented by Tiffenie Harris, OD, FAAO, this course will explore the association between CKD and diabetic retinopathy. The concurrence of these conditions underscores the importance of timely and appropriate diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy.

Essential Medical Eye Care
Presented by Brittany Howell, VSP Senior Product Manager, this course provides an overview of how VSP streamlined its supplemental medical eye care coverage by creating a single plan, simplifying billing, and increasing availability by making it standard coverage for most VSP patients. You’ll also learn how to leverage this plan to maximize VSP benefits for your patients with diabetes and other medical eye care needs.
