How do I join the VSP Premier Program?

If you are a VSP network provider, you will automatically be enrolled in the Premier Program when you reach eligible frame and lens spend targets, based on the last 12 months. Your Premier Program status—Silver, Gold, or Platinum —depends on your total spend and whether you offer certain customer conveniences. For example, Gold and Platinum levels require retinal imaging services and free fittings and adjustments in addition to higher spend targets than Silver.

As part of our ongoing commitment to empower and support the long-term success of VSP network doctors, the VSP Global Premier Program continues to roll out new offerings designed to enhance patient flow, boost profitability, and provide additional practice support. Check out a few of the offerings we introduced in 2021:

Lens Target Flexibility and Savings: In addition to eligible VSP Optics products, HOYA and ZEISS lens products now count toward all network practices’ Premier Program lens targets. In addition, practices participating at the Platinum level now receive extra lens savings when dispensing eligible VSP Optics, HOYA, or ZEISS lens products to patients with VSP benefits. Updated Marketing Toolkit: To support their local efforts to attract patients, Platinum and Gold level practices have access to a robust digital marketing toolkit focused on the health benefits of comprehensive eye exams. This playbook and toolkit will be updated regularly in 2022 to provide you with fresh marketing assets throughout the year.

Community Networking Events: A series of regional doctor forums and roundtable events across the country are giving doctors a chance to engage in peer-to-peer discussions on topics important to them. Watch for events that may be in your area in 2022.
