FEDVIP Open Season is Coming Soon

The Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) Open Season, from November 10 to December 8, 2025, (midnight EST), allows federal employees and annuitants, certain retired uniformed service members and their dependents, and active-duty family members, enrolled in TRICARE health plan, to select or continue using VSP^® Vision Care through FEDVIP as part of their health benefit offerings.  FEDVIP enrollees who choose VSP and visit a VSP Premier Edge™ indicated location can save even more!  

This coverage allows your FEDVIP VSP patients to maximize their benefits, including $0 copays on exam and/or glasses (depending on the plan) at Premier Edge indicated locations, further supporting you with opportunities for enhanced patient flow and profitability.  

In addition, FEDVIP enrollees also have access to the Premier Edge Promise*, an enhanced eyewear protection program, only available at Premier Edge locations, and at no additional cost to the practice. FEDVIP members enrolled in the high-option plan have access to benefits like TechShield^® anti-reflective coatings with a $0 copay and SunSync^® light-reactive lenses with a $0 copay. 

Now through December, VSP Vision Care will raise awareness of FEDVIP Open Season to new and potential VSP members by sending emails, newsletters, and web content promoting program benefits.
